About the position

We are looking for a game developer who is curious and passionate about programming. You are happy to take your own initiatives and are easy to collaborate with. Furthermore, you are driven, and you never hesitate to ask for help when you need it.

What you will do: 

Paf are developing ‘bingo’, scratch cards, and slots. The development team consists of: 

  • Backend: three database developers who takes care of Google cloud, Terraform, Randon Numer Genereator (RNG), game outcome, and backoffice.
  • Frontend: A tight team with both programmers and graphic artists who are developing games through all the phases, from idea to release. We are using Java, HTML, CSS, and GWT in order to convert Java to Javascript. Even the game simulations on the server side are developed by the frontend-team, with the help from a database-API from backend. 

You will be part of the team who produces what will be developed, how it will look and function, creation of stories, estimations, sprint planning, development, testing, and release. We have a clear division of work tasks, where every member in the team knows what’s expecting of them. As frontend developer you are expected to have extensive knowledge of the platform, to the extent that you can provide with assessing changes in the architecture and understand the long term effects. You will be working at a high working pace with fast decision-making processes together with senior developers who, in most cases, worked together in over ten years. 

We are looking for you, who:

  • Have an education within media technique or similar 
  • Have good programming skills within Java, or another object oriented language 
  • Have good communication skills in both Swedish and English 
  • Are cooperative
  • Are independent and takes accountability 

It is meriting if you have experience from: 

  • Game development
  • Client-server-architecture
  • Javascript, HTML, CSS, Git, Maven 
  • UX-design

The Spanish Customer Support Team is located in Malta and forms part of the bigger Paf Support Family located in both Malta and the Aland Islands.

For this role, we are looking for a customer oriented team player with native communication skills, and good verbal and written English skills.

Flexibility is key as working times can vary month on month.

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently manage incoming customer service inquiries through chat and other channels, delivering a high standard and contributing towards an excellent customer experience. 
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods and tools
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within an adequate time frame; following up to ensure resolution, and keeping within the SLAs.
  • Contribute towards the departments objectives to increase the accuracy, efficiency and responsiveness of the customer service team as a whole.
  • Work towards hitting and exceeding personal and business targets.
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies implied by the business.
  • Build rapport with customers through open and interactive communication.
  • Share customer feedback with the CS team, Tech team and relevant teams to contribute towards the development of new products and services.
  • Understand the importance of social responsibility and act in the best interest of players with gambling concerns or problems by following the company’s Responsible Gambling procedures.
  • Comply with legal requirements, industry regulations, internal policies and professional codes.

Role Requirements

  • Strong customer focus, be a customer advocate.
  • Excellent verbal and written Spanish and English language skills.
  • Reliable and ethical, respecting customers’ concerns and confidentiality.
  • Organised and methodical, with good attention to detail.
  • Computer / IT literate, and familiar with CRM systems.

React developer

We are now looking for a Customer Support Specialist to our Swedish Customer Support Team. This position is available either in Mariehamn or Malta.

Are you a service minded team player with a big heart for customers and an eye for top class customer service? Do you enjoy working in a dynamic environment where daily support operations and new knowledge are in focus? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

As one of our Customer Support Specialists you have a big responsibility in taking care of our customers and ensuring that their customer experience is great.
