We welcome Andreas Remmer to the Paf Board
Paf’s new board member is Andreas Remmer, former deputy CEO and CFO of Viking Line. Remmer is very experienced and has sat on several other prominent boards.
“I look forward to working with Paf’s Board and a management team that works with cutting-edge expertise in their area. For my own part, this post came at the right time and it is a challenge I was very keen to accept,” says Andreas Remmer.
The Paf Board now consists of Chairman Jan-Mikael von Schantz, Anna Dahlsten, Sara Kemetter, Birgitta Eriksson and Andreas Remmer. Remmer strengths are in economics and law, as he explains.
“My contribution to the board will soon fall into place. I already have experience from an internationally listed company and also of the shipping industry, which is one of Paf’s business areas,” says Andreas Remmer.
Remmer is familiar with Paf’s operations onboard ships from his time at Viking Line.
“Paf is an important partner for Viking Line and from my management experience there I have a good insight into that cooperation. Today, Paf is a very important player in Åland society and a community builder,” says Andreas Remmer.
